I am trying hard to disassociate from my old religion. It is really difficult for me to do, however, because the Mormon Church has taken such a spotlight role in the anti-LGBT movement. Trys- Did you even read the entire post? Because this is only part of the first paragraph and yet you have made your comment here instead of on the full-body text. Its strange to me that you call me "a little boy" in the same breath as your unintelligent name calling and assumptions about my time as a missionary.
It is the Mormon Church, sir, who can't seem to keep their hands off my rights as a citizen of this country. First, by fighting against my right to marry and have a recognized and protected family of my own. Second, by asking to expand exemptions to non-discrimination laws so that doctors, bakers, and others can deny me service simply because I am gay and they don't like that. I would gladly like to leave the church alone... but as long as it insists on meddling in my human rights, it has chosen to enter a battle it will not win, and from which I will not run.
